The Bright Futures Programme offers hands on experience, a degree, a salary and a permanent job with us once you have finished.
18 years and above
GCSEs grade C or above in Maths and English
A Levels to be equivalent to 96 UCAS points as a minimum requirement to undertake a degree at university (96 points equivalent to 3 Cs or above)
Customer focused attitude and behaviour
Able to drive or commitment to drive within the first year of employment, at own cost
Year 1 – Certificate in Higher Education
Years 2, 3 and 4 – Bsc (Hons) Degree in Housing Policy and Practice
Work based learning at Flagship Group and Academic study with the University of Salford to start in September 2019

The Bright Futures Programme is a four year ‘earn while you learn’ course for 18 year olds and above who will enrol on a Certificate of Higher Education (one year) leading onto a degree (3 years). A permanent job with Flagship Group is guaranteed when you finish.
The Programme brings together the next generation of housing employees with leaders and mentors from the industry. Three positions will be available where you will work across all services areas such as asset management, development, housing and research from day one.
You will split your time between the workplace and university study, both of which will commence in September 2019. Most of the university study will be online with some attendance at university.
You will have a dedicated Flagship mentor who will review your progress, agree objectives and provide general support.

Second Year Degree Apprentices Matthew Levesley and Ellie Colk have recently been recognised as Finalists in the Norfolk Apprentice of the Year 2019 awards
First Year Degree Apprentices Phoebe Allen and Morgan Lingley have said "this is a great opportunity, enabling a balance between work and study, with the obvious financial benefit of gaining a degree through our employer. The placements that we have been on so far have been very interesting and we are looking forward the rest of our course!"
When asked what bought about the drive for this scheme, Senior Directors at Flagship Group said:

Head of Governance and Compliance at Flagship Group, Andrea Rutterford, has also completed a management training programme at the start of her career in housing and said:
